forgegrid bild

Closed Beta Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 27 July 2026 Version: 1.0

These Terms & Conditions apply when you register interest in, are selected for, or participate in the forgegrid bild closed beta testing program operated by Anthread Engineering.

Registration does not guarantee selection, allocation of a unit, purchase rights, preferential pricing, or access to any future commercial release. Selected participants may also be required to sign a separate beta participation, equipment handover, or loan agreement before receiving a testing unit.

Key Points at a Glance

Registration is not guaranteed access

Submitting the form only registers your interest. Participants will be selected based on available units, location, intended use, testing suitability, and other operational considerations.

This is beta hardware

forgegrid bild is under development. Test units, software, firmware, documentation, and features may be incomplete, changed, interrupted, or withdrawn.

Safety comes first

Participants must follow all safety, setup, material, electrical, ventilation, maintenance, and supervision instructions supplied by Anthread Engineering.

Test units may remain Anthread property

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, a beta unit remains the property of Anthread Engineering and must be returned when requested.

Feedback is part of participation

Participants may be asked to provide reasonable feedback, test reports, photographs, logs, fault descriptions, or usage observations.

Your information is not sold

Registration and testing information is used to assess applications, administer testing, provide support, manage safety, and improve forgegrid products.

Participation can be ended

Anthread Engineering or the participant may end participation. A unit must be returned promptly when participation ends if it remains Anthread property.

Separate agreement may apply

Selected applicants may be required to sign a more specific equipment handover or beta participation agreement before receiving a unit.

The summary is provided for convenience. The complete terms below govern the program.

1. About these terms

These Terms & Conditions govern registration for and participation in the forgegrid bild closed beta testing program operated by Anthread Engineering, referred to in these terms as “Anthread,” “we,” “us,” or “our.”

“Participant,” “you,” or “your” means an applicant or selected beta tester.

These terms apply alongside any additional written beta participation, equipment handover, loan, confidentiality, safety, or testing agreement that a selected participant signs. If a later written agreement expressly conflicts with these terms, the later agreement will apply to the extent of that conflict.

2. Eligibility

To register independently, you must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into an agreement.

A person under 18 may only participate through a parent or legal guardian who submits or approves the registration, accepts responsibility for supervision, and signs any required additional documents.

You must provide accurate, current, and complete registration information.

Anthread may request reasonable additional information to assess testing suitability, location, technical experience, intended use, available workspace, safety arrangements, or support requirements.

3. Registration and selection

Submitting the registration form:

  • registers your interest only;
  • does not guarantee selection;
  • does not reserve a production unit;
  • does not create a purchase order;
  • does not guarantee pricing, discounts, priority access, or commercial availability; and
  • does not require Anthread to provide a beta unit.

Selection may consider:

  • available testing units;
  • geographic location;
  • intended application;
  • occupation or field of work;
  • relevant technical experience;
  • testing environment;
  • ability to provide useful feedback;
  • support and collection logistics;
  • safety considerations; and
  • the testing objectives of the program.

Anthread may accept, decline, defer, or place an application on hold at its reasonable discretion.

4. Nature of the closed beta

forgegrid bild is being evaluated before public commercial release.

Beta hardware, firmware, software, interfaces, documentation, accessories, and specifications may:

  • contain defects or errors;
  • perform inconsistently;
  • be incomplete;
  • change without notice;
  • require repair, replacement, reset, or modification;
  • become temporarily unavailable; or
  • be discontinued.

Beta participation should not be relied upon for safety-critical, medical, emergency, life-support, mission-critical, or uninterrupted production use.

Public release timing, pricing, specifications, availability, and final features remain subject to change.

5. Beta units and ownership

Unless Anthread expressly confirms otherwise in writing:

  • all beta units remain the property of Anthread Engineering;
  • possession does not transfer ownership;
  • the unit may not be sold, rented, pledged, transferred, lent, or given to another person;
  • serial numbers, labels, identification markings, and safety notices must not be removed or altered; and
  • the unit must be returned when requested or when participation ends.

Any ownership, deposit, loan, security, delivery, collection, repair, replacement, or return arrangement may be documented separately before handover.

6. Installation and safe use

Participants must:

  • read and follow all supplied instructions;
  • use the unit only in a stable and suitable workspace;
  • provide appropriate electrical power and grounding;
  • maintain suitable ventilation;
  • keep the unit away from water, excessive dust, flammable material, and unsafe environments;
  • supervise operation where required;
  • keep children and unauthorized users away;
  • use compatible materials and accessories;
  • stop using the unit if there is smoke, unusual heat, exposed wiring, mechanical damage, abnormal noise, electrical smell, or another apparent safety risk; and
  • promptly report significant safety concerns to Anthread.

Participants must not bypass guards, interlocks, thermal protections, electrical protections, firmware protections, or safety instructions.

Nothing in these terms replaces reasonable workshop, electrical, fire, machinery, ventilation, or material-handling precautions.

7. Prohibited activities

Participants must not use the unit:

  • unlawfully;
  • to create prohibited, dangerous, or intentionally harmful items;
  • to manufacture weapons or weapon components;
  • to infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights;
  • to process materials prohibited by Anthread;
  • while required safety components are disabled;
  • after being instructed to discontinue use; or
  • in a manner likely to cause unreasonable risk to people, property, or the unit.

Participants must not:

  • sell or transfer access to the beta program;
  • misrepresent themselves as an Anthread employee, representative, distributor, or authorized service provider;
  • remove ownership or safety markings;
  • intentionally damage the unit;
  • introduce malicious code;
  • attempt unauthorized access to Anthread systems; or
  • use confidential beta information to mislead customers or competitors.

Reasonable inspection, maintenance, repair, calibration, and testing expressly authorized by Anthread are permitted.

8. Testing responsibilities

Participants may be asked to perform reasonable testing activities, including:

  • completing setup procedures;
  • testing specified features;
  • recording print outcomes;
  • reporting errors;
  • providing photographs or videos;
  • describing material, environmental, and usage conditions;
  • completing surveys;
  • installing approved firmware or software updates;
  • participating in support calls; and
  • returning defective components or units.

Participants should provide feedback honestly and in reasonable detail.

Unless separately agreed, Anthread does not guarantee compensation, employment, reimbursement, free future products, discounts, or commercial benefits in exchange for participation.

Any costs or reimbursements agreed for a specific participant must be confirmed separately in writing.

9. Feedback

“Feedback” includes suggestions, observations, test results, improvement ideas, error reports, workflow recommendations, and other comments about forgegrid products or the beta program.

You retain ownership of any original material you already own.

By voluntarily providing feedback, you grant Anthread a non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free right to use, reproduce, analyze, adapt, combine, and apply that feedback for product development, testing, documentation, support, manufacturing, marketing, and commercial purposes.

This permission does not transfer ownership of your unrelated inventions, designs, confidential business information, or pre-existing intellectual property.

Do not submit third-party confidential information or material that you do not have permission to share.

10. Confidential information

During testing, you may receive information that is unpublished or reasonably understood to be confidential, including:

  • unreleased specifications;
  • firmware or software;
  • test procedures;
  • technical drawings;
  • pricing plans;
  • manufacturing details;
  • security information;
  • internal documentation; or
  • product roadmap information.

You must use confidential information only for authorized beta testing and protect it using reasonable care.

Information is not confidential if you can demonstrate that it:

  • was already lawfully known to you;
  • becomes public without your breach;
  • is independently developed without using confidential information; or
  • is lawfully received from another source without confidentiality restrictions.

Nothing prevents truthful communication required by law or lawful reporting to an appropriate authority.

Separate confidentiality requirements may be presented to selected participants before unit handover.

11. Intellectual property

Anthread and its licensors retain all rights in:

  • forgegrid branding;
  • product designs;
  • hardware architecture;
  • firmware;
  • software;
  • documentation;
  • graphics;
  • interfaces;
  • manufacturing information; and
  • other proprietary materials.

Beta participation provides only a limited, temporary, non-transferable permission to use supplied beta materials for authorized testing.

Except where expressly permitted in writing or permitted by applicable law, participants must not:

  • reproduce or distribute proprietary software or documentation;
  • remove copyright or ownership notices;
  • publish confidential technical material;
  • extract protected source code;
  • create misleading derivative products; or
  • present Anthread intellectual property as their own.

  • name;
  • email address;
  • contact number;
  • city or area;
  • occupation or field of work;
  • consent and terms-acceptance records;
  • communications;
  • support history;
  • test reports;
  • device information;
  • diagnostic information;
  • firmware versions;
  • fault logs;
  • photographs or videos voluntarily provided; and
  • reasonable usage information associated with beta testing.

This information may be used to:

  • evaluate applications;
  • contact applicants;
  • select participants;
  • administer the beta;
  • provide technical support;
  • arrange delivery, collection, repair, or return;
  • investigate safety or performance issues;
  • prevent abuse;
  • maintain acceptance records;
  • improve forgegrid products; and
  • comply with legal obligations.

Anthread does not sell registration information.

Information may be shared with service providers or contractors only where reasonably necessary for hosting, communications, technical support, logistics, security, or program administration.

Information will be retained for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, record keeping, safety, dispute resolution, or legal compliance.

Participants may contact Anthread regarding correction or deletion requests. Some information may need to be retained where reasonably required for contractual, safety, fraud-prevention, or legal purposes.

13. Support and availability

Anthread intends to provide reasonable beta support but does not guarantee:

  • continuous support availability;
  • immediate response times;
  • spare-part availability;
  • uninterrupted operation;
  • a specific repair time;
  • replacement of every unit; or
  • continued availability of every feature.

Support methods, operating hours, update schedules, and service procedures may change during the beta.

14. Changes to the product or program

Anthread may modify:

  • hardware;
  • software;
  • firmware;
  • specifications;
  • interfaces;
  • test procedures;
  • documentation;
  • eligibility;
  • program duration;
  • participant numbers; and
  • support arrangements.

Where practical, participants will be informed of material changes relevant to their continued participation.

A feature available during beta may not be included in the commercial product.

15. Ending participation

You may request to leave the beta by contacting Anthread.

Anthread may suspend or end participation where reasonably necessary, including due to:

  • safety concerns;
  • misuse;
  • unauthorized transfer;
  • failure to follow instructions;
  • failure to return equipment;
  • confidentiality concerns;
  • repeated inability to participate;
  • program changes;
  • unit shortages;
  • logistical limitations; or
  • discontinuation of testing.

When participation ends, you must stop using and return Anthread-owned equipment as instructed.

Sections relating to confidentiality, intellectual property, feedback, liability, dispute resolution, and accrued obligations continue after participation ends where applicable.

16. Returns, loss, and damage

Participants must take reasonable care of beta units and supplied accessories.

Normal wear, verified product defects, and damage not caused by the participant will be assessed by Anthread.

A participant may be responsible for loss or damage caused by:

  • deliberate misuse;
  • unauthorized modification;
  • reckless handling;
  • failure to follow safety instructions;
  • unauthorized transfer;
  • failure to provide reasonable security; or
  • refusal to return the unit.

No amount will be charged unless the relevant responsibility and amount are reasonably explained and supported.

Return, collection, packaging, and inspection procedures may be specified separately.

17. Disclaimers

Beta products are supplied for evaluation and development.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, beta materials are provided without a guarantee that they will be uninterrupted, error-free, suitable for every purpose, or identical to the final commercial product.

Anthread does not exclude:

  • obligations expressly accepted in writing;
  • rights that cannot lawfully be excluded;
  • liability for fraud or intentional misconduct; or
  • any other liability that applicable law does not permit to be excluded.

18. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, neither party will be responsible to the other for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses that were not reasonably foreseeable.

Participants remain responsible for their own designs, materials, print files, operating decisions, supervision, and use of printed objects.

Anthread is not responsible for loss resulting from:

  • use contrary to instructions;
  • unauthorized modification;
  • unsafe materials;
  • third-party files or designs;
  • interruption of a participant’s commercial production; or
  • continued use after a known safety warning.

Nothing in this section limits liability or legal rights that cannot lawfully be limited.

19. Applicable law and disputes

These terms are governed by the applicable laws of Pakistan.

The parties should first attempt to resolve a concern in good faith by contacting each other and providing reasonable information about the issue.

Subject to any mandatory legal rights or forum requirements, disputes relating to these terms or the beta program will be handled by the courts having lawful jurisdiction in Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan.

Nothing in these terms prevents a person from using a consumer-protection process, regulatory process, or legal remedy available under applicable law.

20. Changes to these terms

Anthread may update these terms to reflect changes in:

  • the beta program;
  • product development;
  • safety requirements;
  • business operations; or
  • applicable legal requirements.

The current version and effective date will be displayed on this page.

Material changes affecting an existing participant will be communicated where reasonably practical.

A participant may be required to accept updated terms before continuing in a materially changed beta program.
